Arsenal do not want me: Fabregas

"If a player is on the market, it is because the club does not want him" Cesc Fabregas responding to questions as to whether he will still be at Arsenal when the season starts. We know that is not going to happen. Barcelona are very close to signing the Arsenal ace, and it is only a matter of time before the prodigal son returns home to papa....

Arsenal have tried so hard to ward off interest in the skipper, last season rubbishing a £30 million offer from the Catalans. However, this time round Barcelona are keen to get their man at all costs, including apparently inciting the skipper to go on strike to have Arsenal lower their asking price....

As if impotent Arsenal have heard enough of this, danger bells are ringing with the prospective loss of Samir Nasri to a number of European giants, bitter rival Manchester United included. The France international is apparently holding up for an improved contract, or could leave. Should he stay, he only has a year left on his contract, and Arsenal could be in for a rude shock....he might even consider the bossman ruling...;either way, Wenger has a lot of mathematics to work on!!!!
