The scene starts from the Karvachouth sequence.

After the ritual is over, Ram is still in shock about the plane crash news. The image of the crash keeps playing on his mind. Had it not been for Priya,Ram shuddered at the mere thought of it. His eyes were full of respect for Priya who for the sake of his family has fulfilled her responsibility. Even though he had made it clear a thousand times that their relationship was a compromise. Priya could have cheated on the fast but she did not and the result was there for everyone to see. Dadi's words interrupted his thought process.
Dadi: Golu and Priya puttar lets go downstairs, all are waiting for us.

Everyone move downwards. The fake jewelry issue comes up and Ram takes Sudhir's side and Priya is ever grateful to him.

In Raya's room
Priya is changing for the night when the image of Rishabh running in plays on her mind. She closes her eyes thinking about the tragedy that would have befallen on Ram's family, her family,and herself… She stopped right there'Her 'would that have affected her. True that there were no strings attached to this relationship but still,she decided to ignore the thought.

While Rasmussen says military action was out of question, Arab League calls for tanks to be withdrawn from the streets.

NATO has ruled out the possibility of military intervention in Syria while the Arab League revealed its roadmap to end violence in the Arab state.

Speaking during a visit to the Libyan capital Tripoli, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said military action in Syria was out of the question.

"My answer is very short. NATO has no intention (to intervene) whatsoever. I can completely rule that out," he told reporters.

The decade-long splurge on intelligence spending in the United States appears to have hit its high-water mark.

The nation spent $54.6 billion on national spy agencies and programs in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, excluding spending on military intelligence programs, according to figures released by the nation's intelligence director.

The Obama administration said in February that it had asked for $55 billion for spy agencies for the upcoming fiscal year. Yet with repeated warnings about pending budget cuts, it appears doubtful that the intelligence community will collect that amount in full.

This is odd, because you think of him as supremely confident:
... I've been talking about things I really don't care about and I have been worried (particularly for the past month) that I'm boring everybody silly....

I'm asking myself, "Have I reached a career crossroads here?"  This is a new experience for me....  I mean, I've really been agonizing over this in a career sense, and I have been dealing with it as best that I go....

[T]hat's what I've really been worrying about: "Have I lost it?"  Snerdley, I've walked outta here every day the past month thinking, "This has to have been boring as hell to listen to. Just has to be," and I worry about it, 'cause every day this show I do for the audience.  I don't do it for me.  Well, I do do it for me.  That's crazy. But I do it for the audience.  I know what the audience expectations are, and they are high, and the objective here is to meet and surpass them each and every day.  When I think I'm not doing that, I get depressed in terms of letting people down.

He explained to AStha how he had been trained to kill enemies in the military likewise how he is going to kill his enemy utilising this resource. Hearing this Astha begs in front of Keerath not to cause any harm to Atharva. But Keerath still taunts her. Astha gets irritated and is about to reveal the real colors of Keerath when Keerath stops her saying that if she ever try to open her mouth in front of her parents then he would finish off Atharva which leaves Astha look helplessly at Baapji's photo. Keerath goes near the photo and lights a matchstick and Astha stops him. He turns towards her and says that he wont burn Baapji's photo but would definitely burn Baapji's name,fame and respect by killing himself and by proving the entire world that he was the one who filled sindoor on Astha's forehead and Baapji chose his bride for someone else by declaring her as Baapji's daughter in law. And when he went to Baapji instead of justice he was given death. So he asks Astha to thinks twice before taking any step against him.(uff this Keerath.. feel like killing him.. i cant digest this track.. its getting boring now with the entry of this irritating character)) Manu enters the room and notices the packet with bombs and asks about it on which Keerath replies back that he has brought it from military to save money so that it could be used on Astha's marriage instead of crackers.

"She was in my office one day, and I made a gesture saying -- and I was standing close to her -- and I made a gesture saying you are the same height as my wife.  And I brought my hand up to my chin saying, 'My wife comes up to my chin.'"  At that point, Cain gestured with his flattened palm near his chin.  "And that was put in there [the complaint] as something that made her uncomfortable," Cain said, "something that was in the sexual harassment charge."
Supposedly, the woman and her lawyer asked for a "huge" settlement, but she got very little, just enough to induce her to terminate the lawsuit.

The Press Council of India (PCI), a statutory body for “preserving the freedom of the press and maintaining and improving the standards of newspapers and news agencies”, has a new chairman: Justice Markandey Katju, a former judge of the Supreme Court of India.

Early Tuesday morning 900 police from a dozen police agencies in the Bay Area, along with Homeland Security, brutally cracked down on demonstrators who marched in support of Occupy Oakland. The demonstrators were marching to reestablish the Oakland occupation, which was shut down earlier in the day. At least one person was critically injured, 24 year old Iraq war veteran, Scott Olsen, who was struck in the face with a projectile launched by police.
In response to the violent repression, which included the use of tear gas, guns that use incapacitating bean bags, batons and the arrests of over 85 protesters, the General Assembly of Occupy Oakland has called for a Mass Day of Action and a General Strike in Oakland to take place on Wednesday November 2nd.
We support Oakland's call. In the wake of the violence used by the police in Oakland, also in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Boston, New York and elsewhere, we are asking students and community organizations, unions, anti-war groups, all progressive organizations and individuals across the country to take to the streets in solidarity.
